Hi CustodyMusic! How are you?

I’m good! Spent the last couple days with family and my girl over the holidays, it was nice catching up with everyone since majority of my time I spend at the studio.

Where are you from?

I grew up in Kitchener/Waterloo ON, CA but have been residing in the city of Toronto for the past 3 years.

What is your greatest inspiration for your music?

I’m a big movie guy, so originally my greatest inspiration for my music comes from soundtracks and scores. Some of my favorite artists are Drake, Kanye West, and The Weeknd. I’m also a producer to so OVO40, Kanye West, and Frank Dukes also had a major influence when it comes to sound design. I try to implement all my influences and their sound into my music.

What are 3 words that describe your music?

3 words that describe my music would be conscious, intense, and melodic.

What is the hardest subject you’ve ever written about?

Hardest subject I’ve ever written about has to deal with getting over past demons, two songs that really represent this are from my debut EP ‘2020’ ‘Don’t Take My Soul’ and ‘Too Much Auto-Tune Pt. 1’

What are the challenges of being an artist?

One of the major challenges I face being an artist is balancing creativity and business sense. Since I am an independent, I need to market and distribute everything myself. In the new age of music business consistency is a great importance, however its is important to maintain quality when it comes to dropping content – quality is a number one priority for me!

Are you planning on releasing new music soon?

I’ve just released my latest single ‘DON’T BE SCARED’ a follow up to a song on my debut EP ‘2020’ called ’Don’t Take My Soul’ you can check out my latest single on all streaming platforms now!
